The sounds of a rushing mountain stream will greet you as you begin your vacation at Bear Paw Falls. This cozy 2 bedroom home is secluded, but just minutes from the center of Maggie Valley. Bear Paw Falls is the perfect place for a truly delightful family venture yet cozy enough for a quiet get-a-way. Enjoy peace and tranquility of the fresh mountain air as your steaks cook on the grill.
Soak your feet in the babbling stream after a long day of hiking and sightseeing. On those colder evenings, you can curl up in front of a roaring fire while sipping cocoa. Grab a good book and enjoy nature in the porch swing or grab a board game and sit on the picnic table and enjoy some family time. You will hardly notice the lack of AC when you open the windows and both full size french doors facing towards the cool breezes that roll off the creek.
Conveniently located to Waynesville, and only 10 minutes from Ingles and Publix grocery stores, or Walmart. Downtown Main Street Waynesville is only 15 minutes away where you can enjoy restaurants like Sauced, Sweet Onion, Boojum Brewery, Firefly and many more. While enjoying Waynesville's Main Street, stop by the many boutiques, customer furniture stores and even a dog friendly bakery.
Please note this property is not pet friendly. Unauthorized pets on property will incur a $300 per pet penalty. Bear Paw Falls is located on a paved road with a steady grade, and the driveway is hard packed dirt and gravel. 4-wheel drive or all-wheel drive vehicles possibly even snow chains might be needed during winter driving events.

Bryson City (home of the Great Smoky Mountain Railway and “Polar Express” during the Christmas Holiday) is approximately 45 minutes west of Maggie Valley and a little over an hour away is Transylvania County (home of the most waterfalls in the United States), and over 100 Antique Shops.
Just under an hour away south of Waynesville, in Hendersonville, you can visit Sierra Nevada Brewery (with their enormous dining and Tap Room), gem mining, white water rafting, ziplining and much more in the surrounding areas, and a beautiful scenic route of an hour and half will take you to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, (home of Dollywood).
