Entertainment abound with WiFi,cable TV in both bedrooms along with HD cable in the living room. Located close to the heart of Maggie Valley with easy access on a paved road; great for bikers and skiers alike. Firewood for the firepit is available for purchase (by the bundle or by the truck load) from Maggie Mountain Vacations.
Less than a 20 minute drive to the heart of Maggie Valley, Cataloochee Ski Area (known as being one of the first ski resorts in the US to open each year), Tube World (snow tubing), Wheels Through Time (a historic motorcycle museum featured on History Channel's “American Pickers”), horseback riding and golfing. In less than 20 minutes, you could be in Waynesville at Ingles and Publix grocery stores, Walmart or head to Main Street in Waynesville and enjoy additional shopping, dining, and sightseeing.
This cabin is about a 30 minute drive to the Blue Ridge Parkway, the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and Harrah's Cherokee Casino (even if you do not gamble, it has some of the best restaurants around), Pisgah National Forest, several golf courses, and just west of Cherokee is Bryson City (home of the Great Smoky Mountain Railway and “Polar Express” during the Christmas Holiday).
Approximately, 55 minutes away heading south to Hendersonville, you can visit Sierra Nevada Brewery (with their enormous dining and Tap Room), gem mining, white water rafting, zip-lining and much more in the surrounding areas.You are 1 hour 25 minutes to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, Tennessee (home of Dollywood).
The approach to this vacation rental is easily accessible, paved road right off the main road in Maggie Valley.
